Program Reviewed: Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto
Here is my review of Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto. If you’re looking for a Tom Venuto review, you’ve come to the right place. I have no doubt that anyone who purchases Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto will find exactly what they are looking for inside.
It is completely comprehensive and covers every aspect of burning fat and gaining muscle that I can think of.
Why buy dozens of other fat burning and muscle building guides when this one has everything you need to know about fat burning in one place? And it is kept well up to date by Tom Venuto who has the body and background in personal training to prove that he can back up everything he says through his own trial and error research.
Tom Venuto’s Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle is a solid 341 manual on burning fat and growing muscle. This ebook shows you exactly why and how you should burn fat instead of focusing just on losing weight. He cuts past the useless fitness-geek jargon and provides you with an extremely solid, sensible plan to reach one’s weight goals, whether or not they are trying to simply lose fat and gain some muscle, or you aim to become a professional body builder.
The author, Tom Venuto, has a degree in exercise science and has certifications as a conditioning and strength specialist as well as a personal training certifications. He studied athletes for over 20 years to find out what they did to make them the leanest people on Earth. Most importantly though, Tom Venuto is a natural bodybuilder who has the body to show for his efforts. Check out www.burnthefat.com for a picture of Tom Venuto at 3.7% body fat.
He describes the principles of NLP (neurolinquistic programming) which dictate that one should copy people who are successful in reaching their goals to achieve their own. Or put more simply, “don’t reinvent the wheel”. With Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, you can cut through all the fat loss frustration and get down to brass tacks with solid fat burning and muscle building information.
In his extremely knowledgeable volume, Tom Venuto provides you with everything you need to get where you want to go with your fitness goals, including background about body types and how to determine yours, and most importantly, what to do about it. Tom Venuto provides the tools for you you figure out your own ideal ratio of protein, carbs and fat. He explains how to analyze your body type and determine your basal metabolic rate (BMR).
Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is not for wimps or fans of shallow quick fixes. It provides a road map for changing your life, habits and workouts for good. A good portion of the book is devoted to getting your mental game right before you work on your body, which is an extremely important step that most fitness and diet books skip. Simply put, what you’re thinking determines what your body looks like, more than any other calorie-burning-fat-loss-tips you can find out there.
The only drawbacks are the sheer size of the book and the fact that Tom Venuto doesn’t give you any shallow quick fixes. He explains exactly how to cut your body fat and what you must do to get the body of your dreams. He explains the path to fat loss in amazing detail, providing at least a few college semester’s worth of nutrition and muscle building information.
Now, I realize that most people don’t fall into the professional bodybuilder category, but the things that work for body builders in losing fat and gaining muscle can still be used to get your dream body, no matter what your dream body looks like. This book has been used successfully by anyone who wants to lose weight; men, women, bodybuilders, fitness enthusiasts and very motivated individuals who want to get rid of body fat.
In Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle, Tom Venuto even describes how to determine what you’re trying to achieve with your body goals. He asks the important questions about what you want to look like so you can make yourself a roadmap to achieving your fitness goals.
The section on goal setting is top notch. Tom manages to compress several books worth of goal setting knowledge into a few chapters at the beginning of his book. Most authors stick some half-hearted info about goal setting in the index or the preface and leave your emotions at the door. Not Tom Venuto. His information about goal setting for achieving your ideal physique is top notch, as is everything else in this amazing volume.
He explains how to increase your metabolism, defines optimal calorie intake and how to create meal plans to achieve your fitness goals. He doesn’t just tell you what to do, he tells you why, and how to to achieve optimal results with his program.
It is for these reasons and more that I wholeheartedly recommend Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto. I hope that you enjoyed my Review- Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle.
